After few weeks of themes searching I’m now settle with this Panorama theme for my blog theme. this will be the a new home for “World of Wah”  powered by WordPress.

I had my lunch at this restaurant during one day trip to Kuala Sepetang Mangrove Reserve Forest, Fishing Village, and Taiping.

I must say the food in this restaurant is quite satisfying and price is reasonable.

There were quite a big crowd there at the restaurant and as our group is big, about 12 person, it took us quite a while to get a table. Nevertheless, the food are considered pretty and the price is very reasonable.

For the crab we should have ordered the steam version instead of the dried curry version.

My ratings:

• Kangkung with belacan: 3 star (normal)
• Lettuce with oyster source: 3 star (normal)
• Steam La-La: 3.5 star (fresh)
• Soup base La-La: 3.5 star (very fresh)
• Steam Mantis: 5 star (a must have)
• 炸鱼仔 (fried small fish): 4 star (should have)
• Curry Flower Crab: 3 star (can skip but should consider the steam version)
• Fried Octopus: 3 star (kids like them), it is actually quite appertizing

Total damage:
Food: RM250 (including drinks)
Drinks: RM35
Will I return: Definitely yes!!

I’ve heard some Chinese News paper make an introduction about this place. Fortunately my brother know someone who stays nearby to take us there.

If you have a GPS and using malfreemaps, you can locate this place by selecting Matang as a different city, then look under seafood category and a restaurant called Light House Seafood. 福满楼 (Fu Man Lau) is just next to Light House Seafood restaurant.

The seafood porridge itself cost RM11 per head. We ordered 6 person portion. The twelve of us have one bowl each and with some extra. It is nice and sweet as the seafood used is fresh. But nothing as spectacular as I expected. To me, the price is just fair and can’t consider cheap. My local friend told that the price has increase after they were being advertized in the newspaper.

My ratings:

• Seafood porridge: 3 star. (RM66, RM11 /pax;  taste normal, nothing to shout about)
• Clam in oyster sauce: 3 star (normal)
• Kung Po Shark Meat: 3 star (normal, if you have not try shark meat, why not!)
• Veggie: 3 star (normal)
• Oyster with Egg: 3 star (normal)

Total damage:

Food & drinks: RM150

Will I Return: I won’t go there for the food on purpose.

The condo is build with tight security in mind, card access to lift lobby, cctv, and of course 24×7 security guards.

Sterling PJ is equipped with full facilities such as, multi purpose club house, badminton court, swimming pool, tennis court, and children playground. They are also certain lots allocated for mini market, child care, and for other businesses.

Sterling PJ has three types of build up units, the 1200, 1400, and 1900 sq feet. The large 1900 sq feet type is built resembling the semi-detach design.

They made the entrance pretty cool too with fountain and water flowing wall.

Most condos are built with nice landscape, what do you think of the landscape at Sterling@PJ? The are a total of 2 blocks, pictures below are taken mainly in the area around Block B.

Beggar’s Chicken as it is called. It is a direct translation from the Chinese word “叫化鸡”. The name comes from a story where in the early days in China, most beggar would not have the proper tools to remove the feathers of chicken, and what they did is to cover the chicken with mud and burned it in fire together with the mud. When the chicken is cooked, by removing the mud, the feather would come off too. Smart eh!! Eventually, I guess the people learned the trick and added Chinese herbs to give it a better flavor and taste.
This place is not easy to find without proper guidance. Fortunately I’ve a Garmin GPS unit loaded with the proper POI location. It brought me right in front of the “restaurant”.
Most of the food is cooked in charcoal, it is interesting to see how they are being done. They do allow you to visit the cooking area.
